Grandma Thompson's Peach Delight

A cool, refreshing summer dessert that is quick to whip up, this Peach Delight recipe is a sure crowd-pleaser!

Ingredients

• 1 peach Jell-O package

• 1 cup hot (boiling) water

• 2 cups mashed peaches (from fresh or frozen)

• 1/4 tsp. almond extract

• 1 cup whipped cream

Directions

In a large mixing bowl, stir together peach Jell-O and boiling water. Stir to dissolve and set aside. Prepare peaches by washing, peeling, slicing, and mashing. Add almond extract to mashed peaches and mix well. Add the peach mixture to Jell-O and stir well. Place in the fridge to set. When Jell-O is almost set, take out and fold in whipped cream. Pour into individual serving cups and and return to fridge until completely set.
